I just had the most wonderful time at an Artist Retreat in Poatina Tasmania. My intention was to come up with a series of works that would be what some people call 'Pot warmers', in other words, some art to help keep the food on the table, or pot on the stove!
I will continue painting my large very detailed works, which I love so much!.. but not everyone can afford their size and price. Many people have encouraged me to do some smaller works, so the time is here!
I am doing a series of leaves, some with water, some with ice, autumn leaves etc. This week will be a big week as I punch out a few samples and then start experimenting to see if the works are marketable. So get ready for it! You may find yourself a very nice little painting on your own wall or for a gift for someone else at a very very affordable price! Watch this space!
